FIXED-WING UAS SYSTEMS

Designed to go further.
Built to be understood.

RGASS develops practical low-altitude fixed-wing UAS capability for payload support, training, systems integration and field-focused prototype development.

MISSION

Practical aircraft systems for real-world capability.

RGASS is focused on efficient fixed-wing aircraft, practical systems knowledge and structured training. The objective is not a sealed black-box product, but a platform that can be understood, maintained, adapted and tested.

Applications include humanitarian support, civil protection, emergency logistics, aerial observation, field training and technical demonstration.

CAPABILITY

One aircraft is only part of the system.

Fixed-Wing UAS

Design, construction, modification, repair and progressive flight-test development.

Autopilot Integration

ArduPilot and Pixhawk-class integration, mission planning, telemetry, RTL, failsafes and log review.

FPV & Control

Video links, RC systems, antennas, OSD, ground stations and field troubleshooting.

Payload Support

Mission-specific mounting concepts and structured testing for approved payloads.

Prototype Development

Fast, repairable demonstrator aircraft built to create measurable evidence rather than marketing claims.

Knowledge Transfer

Technical training for operators and technicians so users understand the complete system.

PLATFORM

Fixed-wing efficiency where distance matters.

Multicopters are excellent for hovering and vertical positioning. RGASS concentrates on missions where the aircraft needs to travel efficiently from point to point, carry useful equipment and return.

Current work is centred on modular electric fixed-wing concepts, practical airframe construction, field repairability and systems that can evolve through controlled testing.

TRAINING

Equipment matters. Understanding it matters more.

ORIGINAL RGASS AIRFRAME

LF-2944 — 13.1 feet of scratch-built fixed-wing development.

The LF-2944 prototype brought together large-airframe construction, twin electric propulsion, modular payload thinking and the foundations of the RGASS systems approach.

RGASS DEVELOPMENT

SightNav

SightNav is an RGASS development concept exploring practical navigation and guidance capability for fixed-wing UAS. The project remains under development, so the public website deliberately avoids publishing proprietary implementation details.

About SightNav
REAL-WORLD DEVELOPMENT

Built from things we actually fly, test and repair.

RGASS development is based on practical fixed-wing UAS work: ArduPilot flight testing, autopilot integration, FPV systems, long-range radio, electric power systems, antenna development, airframe repair and analysis of real flight logs.
